Frequently Asked
Questions
Q: How long have you been breeding?
A: Since 1994 .
Q: How often do you breed?
A: I decide according to the maturity and health
of the dog.
Q: What are the price ranges of your puppies?
A: $1300-$3000
limited. Full registration is $500 more.
Q: Why do you sell your dogs cheaper than others?
A: I feel I charge a
reasonable price. I charge enough to
cover my costs to upkeep my
Frenchies. I breed because
I love
Frenchies.
Q: Are your dogs AKC?
A: Yes we have AKC registered dogs. Therefore,
puppies
are also AKC .
Q: Do you show your dogs?
A: No, we have quality healthy dogs that
represent the breed
well. Showing is not for
everyone. We do keep up
with what is desirable in
the show ring and watch
several AKC shows a
year and Crufts
Q: Do you give full registration/ breeding show rights?
A: Yes,unless the puppy has a known fault and should not be
bred, in which I would make sure you were aware of that at
the time of purchase, the registration
would be limited
If there are no apparent
faults, then I leave the
responsibility up to the new owner. I do charge
$500 more
for full
registration. Limited registration has a spay/neuter
agreement.<> There are many responsibilites and a
lot of time
involved to properly care for your dog and her puppies.
If you are looking for a dog that can be bred, you must be
honest so that
we can be sure you get one that can be bred
as well as provide the correct
papers. Breeding this
breed
is not for amateures. They require many c-sections, most
males
must have their sperm manually collected as they do
not breed
naturally. Therefore needing artificial insemination.
The females are not good moms and many pups
are hand
reared on a bottle (serious sleep deprivation)
These are the reasons that bullies cost so much. We
strongly
discourage anyone with dollar signs in their eyes and ideas
about how they will be
rich to think again.
I have gotten offers from breeders in Russia, Luthuania and
Czechoslovakia to import and sell their puppies. Some easy
money, huh? If I was in it for the money, I'd take them up on
their lucrative offers. I am no fan of importers. I think it is
horrible. Many of those puppies die. It is a very long and hard
trip. No amount of money is worth it.
Q: Do you have a health guarantee?
A: Some breeders will say they
offer a year guarantee, some
all the way up to a lifetime
guarantee. Such things are easy
to say. Follow through is a whole other
matter. If it sounds
too good to
be true, it probably is. The nature of living things
is that life is not perfect. Living things get sick. Perfection
is not a
certainty. Humans have yet to master creating
flawless animals as well as
humans. I understand your
concerns because you are buying an expensive animal.
Remember, the high
cost is for the BREED of dog. When
you buy a DVD player, or TV and you spend
more to get
a name brand you (hopefully) are paying for a better
made
product that will last a long time. Here, we are
dealing with living beings
and a $1500 frenchie can get sick
and so on just like a $50 dog from the
shelter. You are
strongly urged to learn about this unique and
unusual
breed before purchasing one. I added a page to my site
telling the top things you need to know about frenchies.

Buyer is responsible to provide
adequate shelter, proper
diet, necessary veterinarian care and loving
treatment!
All puppies are up to date on there shots and
worming.
They have a thorough vet examination and receive
a
health certificate within seven days before shipping.
If you are
someone that insists that a living thing
be perfect for all its life,
then you may want to consider
getting a cheaper breed of dog.
I understand your wanting
a healthy pup with a guarentee. Hopefully you
are purchasing
the pup to love for the rest of his
life. PLEASE read our
sales agreement.

Q: What is the buyer expected to provide?
A: You are expected to keep the dog in your home or in a
properly
equipped kennel providing air conditioning in the summer and
heat in the
winter. You are expected to provide
preventative
(shots,wormings,ect...) vet care for the duration
of his life. You
are
expected to provide proper diet and clean water. We strongly
urge you to
attend a puppy class or obedience. All dogs should be
taught the
do's and dont's of being a companion. Many dogs are
euthanised
each year because the owners failed to teach
it how to be a canine good
citizen. If your dog comes with limited
registration you will be expected to
spay or neuter. You are expected
to know how and understand the
do's and dont's of this breed.
Q: Do you ship pups?
A: We ship Priority Air only(counter to counter) They are
gradually
accustomed to the crate and outside climates before they go.
Food,
water, bedding and something to chew on accompanies them.
Most
of the stress is due to leaving their littermates, but they settle
into
their new homes quickly. From the stress the puppy might bloat
up
some and could have less than firm
poop. I also ship using a
door-to-door transport service.. I do NOT ship or
sell
internationally.
Q: Will you take a pup back if I am unable to keep it?
A: We will always take
one of our dogs back no matter what the age or
the reason. You will not get a refund but we do not
want one of our
dogs placed in a shelter or with a rescue group. You are
strongly
urged to be certain you are ready and able to commit your time,
love and care for many years to come before you consider purchasing
any pup.
We feel as the breeders of your pup, we have a life long
commitment to it.
Q: Do Frenchies need any special care?
A: Yes. Because of their beautiful flat faces, in hot weather they
must be kept in cool air-conditioned areas. They can die of the
heat in
a very short time, also, when it is very cold, because of
their single coat, they must be kept in warm dry
conditions. The
French Bulldog is not for
everyone. People new to the breed
must
be prepared to have a
house dog.
Q: Are your puppies house broken?
A: No. It takes weeks and sometimes months
for a pup to be
totally trained. Further more, a pup is not physically
capable
of holding it until they are 5-7 months of age. We begin to
instill
clean habits but our pups are in no way fully house broken.
Q: Where do your dogs live?
A: As said, this breed cannot handle heat. Las Vegas is very hot
in the
spring-summer. So, they live in air-conditioning, indoors
.
Q: Can I talk to you on the phone?
A: Yes. 702-205-1594
Q: Why don't you have an application to buy a dog?
A: I have seen the applications some
breeders have. They ask about the
applicants home, finances, do you own
or rent, all the members of the household,
where would the dog sleep etc.
etc. I am adopted myself and I know what
my parents went through to get me.
It is my opinion that getting a dog
should not be the same
process as getting a human. This does not mean I
could care less where my dogs go. I talk to the possible
owners and I go with my gut. Many I meet in person. I realize this is not how
every breeder does things.
